Raised in the Ozarks his entire life, Dr. Grant Criger graduated from Harrison High School in Harrison, Arkansas. Dr. Criger worked in the optical field since 2016 as an American Board of Opticianry certified optician. He then began his pursuit of Optometry by attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. During his time there, Dr. Criger focused on Physics and Microbiology while leading multiple academic and optometry organizations on campus, including his acceptance into the Kappa Mu Epsilon Math Honor Society. After graduating with his Bachelor of Arts, he attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During his years there, he held leadership and membership roles in multiple clubs and organizations. Upon graduation from optometry school, Dr. Criger returned to the Ozarks to provide eye care to his home community. Dr. Criger provides eye care as it relates to refractive conditions, dry eye, diabetic eye diseases, glaucoma, macular degeneration, pediatric care, and cataract care both before and after surgery.
Born in Harrison and raised in Mount Judea, Dr. Kenneth Hefley is a graduate of University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. He served with the U.S. Army as Chief of Optometry in Giessen, Germany, and with the U.S. Air Force as Chief of Optometry in Lajes Air Base in Azores, Portugal, and in Chicksands near London, England. Dr. Hefley has worked with Walmart in private practice since 1992.
